Due to a slight run-in with DA over copyrighted material (the screenshots from BatB used in my original Beast/Prince submission), I had to resubmit this piece with only the sketches. The downside was that I lose all the comments and the faves from the first one. *muttergrumble*
Ah, well. I'm glad I get to show it at all. I only wonder what would happen if I were to animate this and use the audio from the original film, though I probably shouldn't risk it.

Beauty and the Beast (1991) is property of the Walt Disney Company.
I asked them if I could. Unfortunately I can't do it that way. Oh, well.
Thanks.

That's stupid of deviant. =/ The quotes really do help, but the screen shots right next to them makes it more "Oh he DOES look like the Beast in that scene!"
I know, right? The whole point is to compare the two and for me acknowledge what's mine (and what isn't, of course). But hey, at least I get to show what is in fact mine.
Thanks. I appreciate it.

I still think that it looks exactly like Frank Stringini before he cut his hair - the wide range of expressions is also very "Frank". Nice work - didn't say anything the first time I don't think.
So what's the deal with the copyright issue? You give credit to Disney on all your stuff - why give you a hard time?
Does this mean you'll have to pull all your screen-cap fan things you've been doing for the rat movie?
I just love these facials expressions to death. They make me laugh whenever I see them. What a shame Disney never did at least a short movie with human-Adam acting "beastly", I'd die laughing, I bet.
Thanks! Maybe I should use Frank's likeness for reference next time.
Though I'm not profiting off of this and I acknowledge what's mine and what isn't, it seems DA just doesn't want to take any chances.
They took those down as well. Those I can understand, though the macro part was mine.

We want to know what love means to you!
Get your creative juices flowing and design a movie poster for "Paper Heart" that focuses on the theme "What Does Love Mean to Me?".
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. I'll fave it again.
And I'm sorry deviant is being that idiotic.
Thanks. I appreciate it.
